Lost in translation!
Five days in Japan! And all courtesy of Yamaha Music... FAN-tastic!
I have just come back from a "brass & woodwind dealer trip" where we visited 5 different factories in 3 days & then had a day of sight-seeing followed by a day of shopping. Luxury! And I goota say, WOW, the Japanese really know how to do things... everything was just stunning: the food; the people; the factories; the instruments... quite awe inspiring ~ especially in regards to the cleanliness, the quality & the attention to detail in everything they do.
Anke & I spent just 2 days in Japan last year on our way back from Germany but didn't get to go anywhere except Tokyo so this was just incredible - Hamamatsu, Osaka, Toyooka... we really saw a lot in the 5 days. Pics above include a pic of some of the vending machines (for everything), the cute signs they have everywhere; one of the Yamaha hand-made guitar factories; a shot of the Bullet Train we caught (that travels at over 200kph!) and some typiccal Japanese school girls who seem to give their stereo-typical "peace!" sign every time they have their photo taken!
