Our new Canon EOS40D is incredible!

Even though I list "photography" in my interests, I have never owned a really, really good camera.... untill now! I had a pretty good week last week & Anke I decided that, before I go to Japan the week after next (visiting some Yamaha Music factories.... but that's a whole 'nother story!), we thought we would save the GST at least and indulge in a new camera.

Naturally (?!) we spent twice as much as we first intended and we ended up buying a Canon EOS40D. And what a camera! I LOVE it! Anke & I spent the whole of the long weekend snapping & clicking away at everything we could see. The clarity is... well, quite unbelievable ~ what a HUGE difference! Check out some of the orchids we saw on one of our bush walks...
