HAPPY NEW YEAR!

After not knowing what to do for New Years Eve... we ended up at the Norfolk Hotel in Fremantle for what turned out to be a really good night with 5 other friends. We started the night with cocktails at a Mexican reataurant on the cafe strip & then wandered up to the Norfolk about 9 where they had a range of bands & DJ's hacking away all night... and as Leanne had offered to skipper we used the opportunity to drink far far too much champagne (apparently!?!) and laughed the old out & the new year in! At midnight the paper lanterns magically turned into funky hats and after that... I don't remember much!

Highlights for 2006: finishing the renovations on my new bathroom; landscaping my back-yard; our trip to Germany in July.
