And then there were none...

It looks like this egret has found the local take-away! And yes, I suppose it was ony doing what it does... but twice in 2 weeks?! My pond is fishless for the 2nd time in 2 weeks!

Unfortunately the location of my pond doesn't really allow for netting ot other such protection so other than making sure there is plenty of weeds & lillies I'm not sure what else to do... leave it a while before re-stocking I suppose is the first thing. Some fishing line stretched between the shed & the fence?! Hmmm... poor fish! No wonder 1/2 of them were hidng when I fed them this morning.
