City to Surf Fun Run 2008

After Anke & Annika bailed on last years "City to Surf" Fun Run due to a massive storm front coming through on the morning, nothing was going to stop them this year! Anke has never done a 12km run before (neither have I for that matter... I did say I'd do the 12km walk but alas, finding a walking partner was harder than finding a running partner... & there's no way I could do the run!).

Anyway, off Annika, Ian & Anke went & they ran it with surprising ease... along with 36,825 others! It was HUGE crowd and I gotta say, it was really well organised. Congrats guys!
