Some 'roo on the barbie with Stu Hamm!

The last time Stu Hamm was in Perth with Joe Satriani we did a fantastic bass clinic with him & as he had a day off, we did a few touristy things & ended up at Kings Park & did a bit of a Paul Hogan & "threw some shrimps on the barbie".

Well, Stu obviously remembered it as this time, before he landed Perth, he emailed me saying he was going to have a few days off in Perth & light heartedly suggested "maybe this time we can throw some 'roo on the barbie?!".... & so we did just that!

Anke & I took him to Walyunga - one our favourite National parks up in the Swan Valley. We had a great afternoon & everything was just perfect: the weather stunning, the wine wonderful, the food... as you can see, fantastic (and yes, some of that meat is kangaroo!) and culminated with... BOTH of us breaking our picnic forks completely in half (?!).

And his bass playing certainly hasn't suffered in the meantime ~ Stu's playing was stunning & his solo absolutely brought the house down!
